[Auto-feed] Allow us to manage the autofeed setting of items we don't have yet

I will admit that I am currently pretty annoyed with the website. I love that new recipes have been released, but I was already miffed yesterday when twice after I had made a bunch of the new items, and I went to feed my wolves for hunting, or campaigning or whatever, and the new items were gobbled up by my wolves. The first time I went to my feed wolves and saw my precious new items being used up, I went to my autofeed settings and made sure all the new items I could find in that window were set to not autofeed. A few hours later though, as I had managed to unearth some more items and make more new recipes, to my astonishment and great annoyance, the newly cooked items were again autofed. Because apparently, you cannot manage the settings until you have the item.

Well cue this morning and I see some ingredients for the new recipes that I haven't been able to obtain yet in the MM. I buy them all. Cue me feeding my wolves for campaigning and ofcourse my newly bought items go straight through my wolves throat. With the MM only refreshing every 6 hours, the amount of stock we can buy being very limited and I actually spending pebbles to get these ingredients, I am really annoyed, that everytime I obtain a new item it is immediately autofed to my wolves, despite me manually several times setting only very specific items to be autofed. Why aren't we allowed to manage to settings for items we don't have?! It makes no sense.

Alternatively, at the very least, make don't automatically set every new item you find to autofeeding, but instead by default nothing is autofed, and we have to manually set it for each item.

Support for all items automatically being set to not auto feed. Honestly it's just a really terrible UX choice to have it the other way.

It's kind of remarkable it wasn't set that way from the get go. It absolutely should be designed so that everything is "off" and gets manually added by the player to the auto feed list-- even if that means they need to put the button for managing that in a more sane place than buried at the bottom of the den page so new players can find it faster. I haven't had an accident yet, but it's just a matter of time for all players with the way it's designed.

Huge support! It's so gutting when your wolves gobble up the MM ingredients. (-____-)'

Massive 100% support. I don't tend to buy food off the mm, so I'd keep getting 'new' stuff here and there from the gauntlet, and then immediately auto feed it. I've been meaning to make this exact suggestion since I realized what was happening, but hadn't gotten around to it. It's even more obviously a problem now with all the new food stuff they just added. So yes please. The current method is extremely annoying. Just let me customize everything, and maybe default items freshly added to the game to off.

support , with perhaps a link directing you to the page for toggling auto feed settings if you try to feed your wolves and nothing happens . ( that way newcomers are not confused when feeding doesn't do anything due to everything being toggled off by default ) .

I really like your addition, mem! Sort of like a tutorial. Perhaps in general they could add a small question mark icon that you can click to give a pop up with more information on what auto feeding is and where you can find the place to change the settings. I see too many people who can't find it, because, admittedly, it is in an unintuitive place.

Bumping this back up because I finally managed to cook the recipes requiring cucumber (which wasn't available previously) only for it to automatically accidentally autofeed it to a wolf! I don't want my special food items wasted like that, but I couldn't previously set it to be disallowed from autofeeding because I didn't own it yet. Please let us just manage the setting without the need to actually own the food item!
