hi, i wanted to compile a thread of positive feedback for features and changes i've liked recently on the site. i will update this OP if i remember to, which is about a 50/50 chance LOL but hopefully i can manage. please feel free to add your own thoughts.

knucklebones

this mechanic caused a stir when it was introduced, but after the adjustment, i really like it. getting 35+ Wild Wolf rejections in a row can be demoralizing, and i would often see players counting up to and past 100 rejections in the discord. i feel content grinding for Wild Wolves now that i know there is a pity timer so my efforts won't be wasted.

considering how highly players value G1s, getting a steady flow of them feels great. if it's too hard to get a G1, i personally lose interest in hunting for them.

hiring quiche and adding mods

quiche has since hiring provided much of the communication the playerbase desired. yes things are still in the process of improving, there's more additions to be made, but i think this was a great move.

not recent but keeping eye sprinklers separate from coat sprinklers

i would be so chagrined if eye colors were in the same pool as coat colors. it's great to have separate eye besprinklers considering we have 4 colors on a pet on this site. also since eye besprinklers were added early, people won't feel cheated out of potential values.

CA feature

holy cow, this is your guys' golden goose. i love the CA feature. i've actually purchased a replacement cord for my wacom tablet that i haven't used in 6 years just to try my hand at it.

but seriously the gameplay loop on Lorwolf is enjoyable. i had a hard time figuring out exactly what i was supposed to do on Flight Rising, and Coliseum was too slow to feel rewarding for me outside of NOTN. there's a clear gameplay loop on Lorwolf thanks to the Activities taskbar, and while the drops and professions are still being balanced, i feel rewarded for my time.

site go brrrr

the whole site is fast. this is so important but something that can be easily overlooked or unappreciated. lorwolf goes ZOOM and that makes it easier to play.

the discord

a discord server is only as good as its moderators. this site's discord is really kind + funny. conversations rarely go “too far” and if they do, fennelroot keeps us in check with a gentle paw. i also super appreciate that the server is LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly. pet sites tend to have a lot of crossover with those crowds, and i love the supportive atmosphere.

Agree with all the above also you guys are quick on answering the ww befriend hunting quest being bugged. Even if it's not fixed yet acknowledge about it help a lot so we know it will get fix someday and not live with this frustration forever. Also i saw a lot of suggestion threads get comment by either Korvo or Quiche and I really appreciate it

I love the knucklebones so much, I wouldn't have even cared if they Did lower the WW odds or still had it be 100 for wolf just because people are willing to pay 0.5-1MS per individual bone which is much better than grinding for a while, getting a wolf, and its colors are so unsalvageable that people will give you… maybe 3 MS for the trouble

I agree with this! Thanks to the staff who are working on the site. I especially like the Knucklebones update; it's nice getting something when a wolf encounter fails instead of nothing.

completely agree with everything you wrote! I especially love the knucklebone addition and it actually makes me want to hunt WWs more as there's now more incentive to do so, which keeps me playing longer! (not that I've put Lorwolf down for the past month, addiction still strong xD)

also the fact there is a mobile version of the site… such a good thing.

I’m really glad people are loving the Knucklebone update. I hate it 😂 but it’s honestly nice to know other people are finding some relief from it. I guess I just had amazing luck before the update. Now I’m not making near as many MS from wild wolves as I used to, but that’s alright if its easier for most of the community to find them.

I agree with all your other points. I love seeing positive reflections on sites. This is one of two pet games I play right now. And the other is not breeding. I really like this one a lot.

I like the knucklebone update because it gives me a chance to get special ids I want with wws. I am currently saving knucklebones for a few ids to try for.

I also like the arena. It is so fun and I don't have to waste my pebbles on companions if I don't want.

The tutorials. I was an EA player and there were no tutorials back then, I was worried when I came back and no pop-up tutorial showed up but then I saw the button. It's perfect, it leaves the site open to explore without being forced to do things while also giving enough explanation a newbie wouldn't be completely lost.

the new poll about upcoming features is a good sign to me that the dev team wants to have a good relationship with the community, which specifically requested more communication before implementation. thank you guys!

Agreed with everything above! Something else I appreciate is that buying and selling in the flea market are separate columns on the same page, so I can price check things without opening up a second tab. It's a little convenience, but I really like it :)
