posting a picture ina thread

Sorry i feel like i should know how to do this but i have been struggling to find how to post my puppies on a thread. i wanted the picture of the puppie to link to the puppie itself but i dont know how to do it or if theres even a way to do itm and i dont speak enligsh perfectly so i wasnt finding anything on google im very sorry if this is very obvious sorry :c
