I would really love to see a hyena-inspired breed! They are my favorite creatures

I'd really like to see these breeds in the future:

• Raccoon dog/Japanese raccoon dog - They're fluffy and have interesting shapes (ex. short, rounded ears)
• Afghan hound - It would be exciting to see different coat types. These dogs look majestic!
• Any type of hyena (but preferably striped)

As for genes I'd love to see piebald and thylacine stripes <3

Breeds:

• Hyena - Especially the spotted or striped, my favorites!
• Tibetan fox - Just my personal interest, their faces are really funny :D

Pattern:

• Leopard/Jaguar - Since we already have tiger stripes, I thought these could be available.
• Piebald - Common pattern, but very good-looking.
• Spotted - Like the Dalmatian Dog.

1. Dragon wolf- Spines going down back. Scales on face.

A more splotchy under gene could be nice! maybe something that tapers off into a spot pattern instead of a hard edge or gradient

Breed wise, I'd love to see something with a wiry coat type, like an Irish Wolf Hound!

I think a jackal with exaggerated features would be a really fun addition! Like the Egyptian depicted jackals with short almost smooth fur and incredibly angular designs. Or a breed a bit like the Xoloitzcuintli Quetzal

I’d love a Thylacine, direwolf, or sea-wolf based breed!

on the more fantastical side, I’d love to see something aquatic or a manticore inspired breed!

For patterns:

Shepherd/Alsatian type markings, with the classic back saddle for upper, classic mask and / or “beauty marks” (those dots on their faces) for the accent, and a “black and tan” style for the unders, so eyebrows, muzzle, chest patch(es), and lower legs/inside legs.

A piebald or whitemark accent, possibly similar to pinto/paints in horses.

Appaloosa variants! Blanket / rumpspots, leopard / fewspot.

Breeds: seconding Hyenas and AWDs.

Patterns:

1. Leopard rosettes (Custom apparel is a great tool to have buuuuut limited)
2. “Minimal spotting" unders where only the tail tip, toes, and a small chest spot is colored, modeled after minimal white seen in many canines wild and domestic
3. Seconding the appaloosa rear end blanket marks. Leave “holes” in the marking to expose the base underneath.

Breeds:

1. African wild dog anatomy-styled breed. Gotta love them big round ears.
2. Seconding the corgi/sweedish valhund/insert long stumpy legged anatomy dog here.
