ReCrafting

Hello!

My suggestion is the ability to ‘recraft’ crafted items.

Eg, I could make 200 odd pieces of simple apparel, like eyebrow pieces or nose rings etc, but I have no need for that many, and I doubt that they would sell much in the long run, and while it is true I could sell them from the inventory, I think the ability to re-craft would be much better, especially as an option!

I don't think you should get the full amount of the item's ingredients back. Maybe you could get x number of ore per bar that was originally used, or a chance percentage of getting the full item, as well as a handful of XP points?

Cheers!

I completely agree! I suggested something similar during beta/EA, but right now most people are crafting and crafting away to level up, but it is flooding the inventories and market with items nobody really wants.

We also need a use for recipes. They are single use, and by far the item most often pulled from the mole markets free item claim. I guess, we need some sink for excess items. Similar to Baldwin on Flight Rising, where you can reduce it to ingredients that can be used for new items. I'm not sure if Lorwolf is planning some sort of alchemy type of profession (which would be really neat, btw!), but if they are not, then (re)crafting would be the solution here to get rid of those excess items we're all generating.

Support! I would love a break down option for crafting. I'm fine with diminishing returns if I still get a small amount of XP in turn ot like you suggested a new profession/npc who will do this for you.

Definitely! I think getting some form of XP is the most important part, but being able to do something with the items we don't want, besides automatically inventory selling them, would be excellent :)
