…and why? mines the first sword / area (not the starter) in darkspine. i oddly feel like i get the most encounters there, sometimes even multiples in a row. that, and i get so much food i can sell on the side while hunting

The first area past the starting den always seems to be the most lucky for WW encounters.
I've seen WWs on the last adventure map as well, but I've never caught one there.
First swords in Icerun, last swords in Goldsea and second swords in Murkwood for me, that's usually where I farm food/pebbles/materials/trinkets so WW encounters is a bonus. :D

I like to grind in the first sword/area past the starting den. I use the food you get along the way to refill stamina and keep the grinding session going longer.
Zanthous which is the first sword area in Goldsea. Only one battle encounter plus a lot of food :D
yeah i feel the first sword place is the best. great food source and the WW encounters seem more common oddly enough. though out of all of them i seem to have more luck in darkspine.
Mostly Goldsea but I plan on going to Murk for variety soon. Just need to have more time first!
used to do the second sword areas of each pack zone, but i've since changed to the first areas for the surplus of food and added wild wolf encounters. <:
"The Neck", the first sword area after the den in Darkspine for me too, but I still have to do the other campaigns XD
Definitely the first sword area of Goldsea - I find I'm always able to get through relatively quickly and I'm always scoring plenty of food to keep me going!
First sword area of each zone for sure, mostly for the variety of tasks and items to be gained, but I have also strangely had the most luck getting encounters there versus hours of not in the later zones. Probably still just the same RNG, but oh well!
