Same! I wanted my pack to be more female dominated, so the elegant lope of the jocol and the powerful, sturdy anatomy of the female lupin seemed apropriate
@Raik sturdy is the PERFECT word for lupins especially females, I love their vibe so much!
male jocol and female lupin! Hunter and Tempest are OCs I've had for a while and I've been wanting to develop them. Hunter is originally a jackal with exceptionally long ears (think drawings of the Egyptian god Anubis) and Tempest is originally a wolf, so the decision was easy.

Male and Female Jocols, but then I turned one into a little Zerda gremlin. I didn't breed them because of color clashes though. Character development is still pending.
I just really like the base artwork for Jocols, they're my fave species besides the premium ones.
Male and Female Kits. not sure why i went with kits but it's just what they ended up being as i designed them.
I made both Jocols. They're one of my favorite breeds. I'd only breed change them if a new breed were released that I liked more.
I let RNG pick my progenitors entirely. :P I ended up with a female Jocol and a male Lupin!
I have the same as you! I made them both Lupin initially because I was trying to go as fast as possible and had not planned them beforehand. So I ended up changing my boy to a Jocol after a bit of time in demo lol
I'm happy with their breeds rn but might Bracchus morph one down the line
I made mine a female Lupin and a male Jocol. I'm happy with them and have no plans right now to change them.
