Yes to Maned wolves, I also want to see Dholes, Aardwolfs and Thylacenes/Tasmanian wolf (even though they are technically marsupials they look wolf enough XD)
I personally don't think hyenas would fit- for as much as I LOVE hyenas personally, they are not canines nor are they even related (they're in the feliform suborder along with cats, civets, and mongooses.) However, for a somewhat similar vibe, there could be a lorwolf breed based on the prehistoric bone-crushing dogs: Borophaginae.
Personally I would love to see a breed based on gray foxes- they're incredibly cute, and I'm biased because it's a native species where I live.
Just reread this and saw AWD are confirmed, I'd like to add that I'd also love a more elegant wolf type. Something that looks more graceful, you know? The mentioned borzoi would be a good one for that but I'm not sure what else. Also, an aquatic type would be awesome. I'd love the reptilian look on it or maybe even just amphibious, with like, webbed paws and such like that.
