I just wanted to hear people's thoughts on what breeds they think could possibly be made in the future. Seeing maned wolves as one of the breeds definitely intrigues me, as maned wolves are not related to wolves at all. In fact, their closest relative is the South American bush dog. Which leaves the question, what else might be in store for Lorwolf breeds? Beyond made up things like the bat-wolf combo. Could we get hyena wolves? African wild dog wolves? Tanuki wolves? The possibilities are endless. I just wanna hear what other people think could be possible.

If they ever touch on domestic canines Shiba Inus would be cool! or Short furred hounds, kinda like Ibizans, Greyhounds, or Xolos!

For wild ones, maybe a coyote based one since we have a jackle breed already or one based on extinct canines? (timber wolves and others that I cant remember the names of right now-)

well you mentioned it already but I was thinking that I would love an african wild dog like breed with african wild dog genes to boot!

I'd love to see a really chonky and floofy dog, just a big ‘ol thick unit of a canine! Like a Shar Pei or St. Bernard or Tibetan Mastiff lookin' beast.

I think a malamute or husky could make a fun base- all of the floofy and a curly tail!

A tanuki or Arctic fox. Maybe a dingo. Or maybe something based on extinct animals, like a dire wolf or a thylacine?

We have a wolf that flies, so I'd love to see an amphibious breed.

I also think a breed inspired by a borzoi would be cool. Not a straight up copy, just have a noticeable feature(s) taken from it and mixed with some fantasy elements.

my name makes me biased but i'd also love an interpretation of dire wolves, whether natural or more fantasy!

and +1 to floppy eared doggos, or domestic inspo in general, because we sure have done some wild things to wolves in the name of breeding irl—why not here too?

Already said, but I would loooove an African Wild Dog breed. Their markings would look so gorgeous!
