Happy Saturday early access players! We’ve seen the feedback so far of early access being overly difficult for new players, and we want to assure you that we will be continuously working on making improvements to the game throughout early access - mostly addressing the game’s difficulty and steep learning curve for new players. We also focused heavily on Farming for the first series of fixes, as Farming is the next weekly event! In other news check out our ever expanding list of guides if you’re feeling lost, and please continue to share bug reports and suggestions to help us improve the game (suggestions index coming soon), and thank you for your patience <3
- Farming:
- Removed plant death: Now, plants will always be harvestable and never die, regardless of their compost or water levels. Instead, we’ve added crop yields, which will determine the amount of food harvested based on how full a crop’s water and compost levels are at the end of its growth cycle. For example: two players sow a plot of corn -
- Player 1 maintains the compost and water levels at full capacity until the end of the crop’s growth cycle. They receive a full harvest (randomly rolled from a range of numbers) plus 100% extra yield.
- Player 2 does not maintain water or compost levels and their plant has 0 compost or water at the end of the crop’s growth cycle. They receive 50% of a full harvest (randomly rolled from a range of numbers).
- Added a chance to receive seeds from a harvest
- Increased time after tilling timer to be 10 minutes instead of 2
- Fixed bug that was causing harvested food to not show up in inventory
- Added missing farming images for Goldsea
