Do the devs even care about this game anymore?

From a player perspective, it doesn't look to be the case.

There haven't exactly been any updates besides the automated ones.

There's rarely a dev log anymore, and when there is, it's extremely bare bones with no bug fixes or anything to engage players.

The devs don't communicate and there hasn't exactly been any new content since Halloween. ( Besides the Icerun event, which is a copy / paste of previous events )

Even that was a mess, as the Halloween companions were said to be taken out of the Mole Market after two weeks, but it took more than a month to do so.

It just feels like the devs have given up at this point and have jumped ship.

This is not to say the game isn't enjoyable, but it just feels like the devs have given up.

This comes from a place of genuine concern and curiosity and isn't meant to be taken as an insult.

I’m really disappointed in the lack of updates. Like you said, we don’t even get like status updates. It would be nice to know how development is coming along. It’s really killed the game for me. I’m tired of looking at the same set of patterns on every wolf. No one can afford the striking patterns. I just randomly check in these days. I want there to be a reason to come back; I would love to be excited about things again.

The copyright has been updated so I guess there’s that. I was looking to see if the socials have had any activity, but it does not appear so. I hate to always be complaining about inactivity and lack of transparency, but it really just has always been an issue. Maybe there is something IRL going on, and I really hope everyone is ok. I’m just sad about it. I was having a blast here, but I can’t hold the momentum alone. :(

I've been in and out of this game for a while in terms of activity. I remember being stoked about this whole thing, but the constant radio silence and lack of communication is really eating at any sort of motivation I have to stick around. At least I have time to catch up on achievements and accrue massive amounts of wealth with no sinks /s
