Hey, Lorfolk!
This thread's pretty self-explanatory. I just wanted to create a little place where we can chat about our favorite Pokémon and interact a little bit more as a community!
Every so often I might bump the thread by asking users for a new theme (favorite starter, favorite legendary, etc.) so if you want you can subscribe to the thread or request a ping to be notified of when discussion refreshes! Whenever I do post a new theme, I'll list it here on the front page!

Favorite Overall Pokémon
My favorite Pokémon over all is and has always been Houndoom. I love demons and Doberman pinchers, so having a cool and fearsome fire-breathing dog that combines a bunch of my favorite aesthetics is like a dream come true. The Mega Evolution is even more impressive. Plus, it's a really powerful fire-type Pokémon (and dark-type, but I tend to rely more on its firepower), and its lore is super interesting!
Its fire is produced from toxins within their body, and if one is burned by it, the pain never goes away. Other Pokémon fear its howl, once believed by humans to be the sound of the grim reaper itself. The leaders of packs of these Pokémon are even noted to have different horns--ones raked sharply back. It's fun imagining them with all kinds of unique horn types!
