Is the gold pickaxe worth buying?

I’m just wondering if I should buy the recipe for the gold pickaxe. I will if it’s worth buying!

I've never used it but then I'm saving gold bars for other things, like armor. If you have no use for gold then go for it.

I bought it, out of completionist tendencies. But like Darkfeather, I'm saving all my gold bars for other recipes. I did once buy the premade gold pickaxe from the event shop, and it lasted for so long. But since there is an achievement that requires you to break a whole bunch of pickaxes and wheels, it is a lot faster to use copper tools instead, since they break so fast. And since I'm not online that often anymore (I am online regularly, but not for extended periods of time), for me it is also a waste that they make you move/mine so fast. Cause it just means I use percentage from the tools, but don't get the speed benefits from it cause the wolf will sit idle for hours before I have a chance to play again.

i alternate between gold and chaosium because only using chaosium makes me run out of chaosium

I just buy them with the tickets in the shop! Its great that you can use them no matter what your level is~

I think the pickaxe is a better deal than the wheel. It seems to last longer/ get more use out of it
