... ▶ I've taken some inspiration from other recent user events and am hosting my own! There's a 'catch,' though... This event caters specifically to my interests, and I'm bringing you all along for the ride. Tighten the seatbelt on your Charizard Glider or grab the nearest Flying Pikachu, because this event is themed around Pokémon!

⬤ WHAT IS THIS EVENT, EXACTLY? ⬤

... ▶ This event is a ticket-based raffle for a Bracchus Breed Change. This event requires that you complete tasks to earn Nuggets (worth one point) and Big Nuggets (worth two points) for a chance to receive the BC. Continue reading to learn more!

⬤ EVENT INFORMATION ⬤

... ▶ While this event is Pokémon-themed, it doesn't require a lot of knowledge about the franchise. Each task includes background information that will help you on your way even if you've never played the games. There are five categories of tasks, with each category including a task that rewards a Nugget (worth one point) and a task that rewards a Big Nugget (worth two points). If you complete each task, then you'll have earned a grand total of 15 points by the end of the event. Each point is equivalent to one entry into the raffle.

⬤ HOW TO COMPLETE TASKS ⬤

... ▶ You may, however, share your demo creations with others on this thread. Please note shared creations don't count as a form submission; they only count if you DM me the following form.


⬤ HOW TO VIEW COMPLETED TASKS/RAFFLE ENTRIES ⬤

... ▶ You can view the first page of this spreadsheet to keep track of the Nuggets/Big Nuggets you've earned for each task. The second page (tab is located at the bottom of the spreadsheet) allows you to view each raffle number and its corresponding participant. This is a very simple spreadsheet; you'll need to CTRL+F and type in your username to find yourself on both pages. If you notice any errors in my calculations, please let me know.

... ▶ I will update the spreadsheet daily, if not more. Please refrain from asking about your submissions until more than 24 hours have passed from the time of your submission. You will receive a message from me stating that your submissions have been counted when they've been added to the spreadsheet as well.

⬤ What tasks can I expect to see when the event goes live? ⬤

... ▶ Tasks are based on-site and include demo challenges, guessing games, team building challenges (using wolves, hehe), etc. As mentioned previously, extensive knowledge of Pokémon as a franchise is not required. Each task will include all the information you'll need to successfully complete the task at hand. These tasks will appear in this thread right before the event goes live.


⬤ How long do I have to complete each task? ⬤

... ▶ You have from the event's start date (January 2nd at 12 AM UTC) to the end date (February 1st at 11:59 PM UTC) to submit tasks. This allows me approximately 24 hours to finish tallying points & assigning raffle numbers before a winner is drawn on February 3rd at 12 AM UTC.


⬤ Do I have to do tasks "correctly" in order to receive Nuggets/Big Nuggets/raffle points? ⬤

... ▶ As long as the task's prompt has been followed and the submission form has been completed & DM'd to me, then technically no for some of them! I'm not judging tasks based on any level of accuracy to the Pokémon franchise, as not everyone is familiar with Pokémon. As long as the tasks are completed according to instructions and submitted via DM, then you'll receive the associated Nugget/Big Nugget & its accompanying raffle points!


⬤ How is a winner drawn? ⬤

... ▶ I use a random number generator that randomly selects a number from the starting number to the ending number. It also includes the beginning & ending numbers. You can see an example of a randomly generated number here. I will post a screen recording of the randomly generated raffle number when a winner is drawn; you'll be able to see the winning ticket's associated participant on this spreadsheet as well.


⬤ So... what happens if I win? ⬤

... ▶ I'll make a post announcing you as the winner. You'll receive a ping, and so will the rest of the event pinglist! You'll have 72 hours to claim your Bracchus Breed Change before I generate another winner. What you do with the BC is ultimately up to you!


⬤ Can I chat on this thread/post my creations? ⬤

... ▶ As long as all chatter remains on-topic, then yes! Please note that while you can share your creations here, they will only count as submitted when you fill out the appropriate form and DM the submission to me.


⬤ Do I need a lot of knowledge about Pokémon to participate? ⬤

... ▶ Nope! The tasks are designed to be simple enough for people with no knowledge of the franchise or people who simply don't like the franchise to complete without issue. Of course, if you have any questions about a task, please don't hesitate to reach out!


⬤ Do I need to hoard any items (like fleas) for this event? ⬤

... ▶ No items (or fleas) are required for the tasks.


⬤ Why aren't the tasks posted ahead of time? ⬤

... ▶ I'd rather avoid the scenario in which participants pre-complete the tasks and then submit them all at once as soon as the event goes live!

... ▶ Shiny Pokémon are Pokémon with a pre-determined alternate colour palette; they're hard to find in the games.

... ▶ You can easily view any Pokémon's shiny form by searching for & clicking on any Pokémon listed on the Pokémon Sprite Archive. Using CTRL+F and typing in the Pokémon's name makes this go faster!

... ▶ Some Pokémon have minimal differences between their normal forms & their shiny forms. Just do the best you can!

... ▶ Using standard Pokémon Types as a reference (excluding Stellar & ???), it's time to turn your own wolves into a team! Choose six wolves from your den and assign a Pokémon Type to each wolf. Explain why you gave each wolf on your team the type you did. You don't need knowledge on how type matchups work for this task; you can choose types based on general vibes, colour, etc.

... ▶ Some Pokémon can 'evolve,' or become bigger and stronger versions of what they were previously! Likewise, it's time to 'evolve' one of your wolves in need. Choosing any wolf from your dens, load it into the Lorwolf Demo and gene your wolf up into what you think its final form would be if you had the necessary items on-site to re-gene it! For the fun of this task, you can swap the wolf's colours to different layers and change the eye colour as though you had access to Eye Besprinklers.
