just noticed the beginner bundle offer with 125 ms and 50k pebbles and 50k pebbles is such a laughable amount, literally less than 1.5 moonstones these days
at launch, the ratio was down to around 1:10kp but that 50kp was super helpful starting out for den spaces and to purchase a couple companions if your MM was mean and didnt give you any of the cheap ones.. nowadays, its only really helpful if you just joined and havent gotten a way to earn pebbles yet
Yeah, I don't think that was ever meant to establish any kind of ratio. Just, as lissago already mentioned, be a helpful little amount of pebbles when starting out.
I think it's hard to try to establish any particular ratio with any particular item unless it is being directly sold for currency. If you notice something is inflated, you can try to release more of that item to deflate the price a bit, but unless there were some sort of official currency exchange, there is no Achieving that goal.
Echoing that it's meant to be a Beginner's bundle, for beginners. Reminds me of mobile games that give you non-premium currency and other boosts for purchasing in the first week or whatever. Although with no expiring availability, becomes just sort of a...bundle. :)
There was indeed some optimism that the ratios wouldn't get too bad, too fast... Before they unveiled that almost all "progression" was changing from pebbles to moonstones. That along with minimal changes to compensate, both in use for pebbles and adjusting the generation of MS, sort of self-sabotaged and made the current exchange rate inevitable. It will keep getting worse until something meaningfully changes, beyond one pebble-centric update. :P
