this is probably the third time now a post or topic of mine has been deleted with zero indication as to why
not much else to say besides you should probably tell people why their content was against ToS

As someone who posted on the thread mentioned, I agree. I have also had comments on posts removed before and no indication why - I even submitted a ticket asking why and never got a response. They seem to tell me if they are especially upset about a post, but it seems if they would rather not talk to you, they just remove it and go about their day as if it never happened. I know there's probably only one mod (Quiche ?) actually checking forums still and working on reports, but if that's the reason for not being able to answer people directly about what's being moderated, then clearly something needs to be changed to help that work flow.
All I can guess about posts being removed is it falls under one or more of the following:
1. It questions mod / dev behavior
2. It features sarcastic remarks
3. It accuses or targets another user of breaking ToS
4. It contains obvious mature themes

Completely agree. I think it is important to let people know why their post or thread was removed. If anything, they can learn from it. Even more so if multiple strikes lead to account actions, it would be very nice to know if and how many times you've apparently already crossed the line.
Communication = important
this thread will probably get locked or deleted soon as well with no indication so it would be nice to have actual communication from yu guys for once!
Please god don't let this topic get thrown into the void like the others and just talk to us
I typed up a huge reply to the topic last night and when I clicked 'submit,' the topic was gone.
I have an art i owe somebody here. When I finish that, I'll probably be taking off. The communication here is so weak and things like deleting instead of locking threads is... Why? When you never talk, people can only assume. My assumption is that they dont want new people to be able to see how unhappy their userbase is overall.
It's genuinely sad seeing users here practically begging for the tiniest crumb of communication only to get the very evidence that they spoke up erased off of the website.
I feel really bad that Quiche is probably taking most of the heat from the userbase as well and hope that they get a lot of appreciation from the rest of staff. I wouldn't want to be the face of a company that's made half their userbase angry.
Editing to say this louder: I WOULD PREFER COMMUNICATION OVER UPDATES AT THIS POINT.

i said this on my now deleted topic so i'll say it again: i don't think people would be that upset if the devs told us that x, y, z has come up and the updates are going to be slow for a while.
it would quite literally be better than nothing at this point.
there has been a very noticeable shift in things since we missed the planned mid-september patch. the devs have said ~nothing~ since.
I've participated in a few threads now that got locked down and posts wiped for breaking TOS.
It's at the point now where I fear posting on Lorwolf, as it seems it's against TOS to have an opinion, especially a negative one?
"Discuss opinions involving these terms or moderation: Discussions involving opinions about Lorwolf’s terms, policies, rules, moderation, or support ticket responses are not permitted. Negative mentions of staff or moderators are not allowed."
I worry that users genuinely trying to make the game better and keep interest by trying to discuss problems and provide feedback are going to be banned. It's a very fine line between a suggestion/feedback thread and breaking TOS it seems.
like, i think its completely reasonable to have rules in place to negate excessive, unproductive negativity, but if this is the way it actually plays out... i don't know if i would feel comfortable giving any sort of feedback.
