I play arena often and over the past couple of weeks, the 'starting' period has been increasing. It used to take maybe 2-5 seconds to load the battle, then it took 20s, and now it takes a ridiculous 40s which leaves 6s of the visible battle for me to see.

During the 40s I've tried reloading the page, to which a very quick glimpse of a timer counting down (It starts at 40s, not 60s so it's not the battle time? When this timer ends, the battle then starts with it's timer at around 16-18 seconds left) shows before it disappears under 'starting...'

I've logged out and in, cleared my history and cache, restarted my pc, etc and nothing has worked.

This happens for every single battle. I am using windows 11 and google chrome.

It appears this issue has been resolved? My timers are back to normal, will update this thread if it comes back.

It might just be your device getting older. My Chromebook is two years old and takes about a minute and fifteen seconds.

Then again, Chromebooks aren't super powerful so... maybe it's something else

As I said before, arena was loading fine a couple of weeks ago. My pc is almost 2 years old and is definitely not slow considering the other games I play. I believe this is on lorwolf's end.
