Gotta always return to this.~
The issue with more den slots would be cheesability with high payout companions, which already is cheesy as is with current wolf counts.
But~ We can always have nonfunctional dens with wolves that can't be traded, bred or sold or have companions on them.
Just there to be dressed and showed or turned into lore collections

"Please do cite the deep magic to me, actually. I may have been there when it was written but I am very forgetful."
I would like at least a little additional space to be added, or somewhere we can send and keep wolves in limbo without having to release them--just to keep them so we can look at pretty ones we know we won't be actively using or anything.
I do want to point out that 500 slots is a LOT for a pet sim. Most of them don't allow that many due to a variety of factors (data space, load times, sever cost, etc.). Heck, Flight Rising only allowed a few hundred for the longest time, and they have way more breeds and patterns than Lorwolf. They did release a massive size upgrade with their hibernal dens, which essentially is what I suggested above--keeping pets without being able to use them to benefit game play or acquisition of currency/items/EXP. Another user aptly pointed out that having too many wolves with companions attached means people will be generating a ton of pebbles and we don't have too many pebble sinks to take them out of circulation. Things would just continue to stagnate.
