Founded in the highest peak of Icerun, lies a group of canines who claim to be starborn. No one truly believes them, but the abilities they possess are enough to shut the muzzle of any who cross their path.

They are amiable and wise, and almost always will find a solution to your problems. They don’t have a clan name binding their loyalty—any who look for them will eventually find them. And any who ask shall receive their aid.

Many have criticized them for their actions, saying that no one can keep their paws full with so many allies, but the Starchasers are inclined to disagree. The stars in the night sky shine for all, not some.

They believe that eventually they’ll claim their place in the sky once more, reuniting with their star-bound siblings.

But the bonds they’ve created in Loria are just as precious as those of the stars, so their destination is just as mysterious as their riddles.

The Starchasers: A Brief Introduction

There are many Starchasers scattered around Loria, but not all of them are located in Icerun territory. They are star-bound and will eventually find each other when time comes.

Celestine, the first who uttered the “Starchasers” name, and the one who is currently chasing tails in Icerun territory, looking for her fallen stars. She is not alone in her journey, however, as Crescent and Ripple keep her company.

Crescent, self-proclaimed sky painter and father of the aurora borealis, is serious and irritable, but he always has a smile to show, if you’re patient enough to see his pieces of art. Perhaps it’d be nice to stop by and say hello, huh?

Ripple, once part of the night sky, but banished due to their evil thoughts, had their soul shattered into five pieces. They learned how to live in Loria before settling in Their cave. Long are the thoughts of vengeance as they decided to live the rest of their life as a spiritual guide.

Sirius, the star connector who is wise as one can be, uses his shapeshifting ability to travel long distances and look for others who may need his help. He isn’t as ill-tempered as Crescent, but he’d rather not get distracted while on duty.

The Starchasers are under watch of the universe itself.
And as such, their choices and stories are being written and will be recorded here, in a place where all shall judge and decide whether or not they deserve a place among the stars.

Author's Note

Hello! I thought I'd write this as a sort of "author's note", heh.

This thread will be the place where I will catalogue the wolves who are star-bound and give them a brief introduction. Their full, complete lore, along with character playlists and abilities will be written in their profile page. (Most of them aren't complete yet, but hopefully when you see this, they will all have their stories and personalities written down by me).

I will publish short stories centered around the Starchasers in the forums, and will tag them as "[Short Story] (title)", accompanied by my author notes and a small illustration to come with it.

I think it'd be best to put them here because, well, not only is this the place where we should publish our fanfiction, I also don't want to link children to outside fanfiction sites, as I know that they may wander, and not all authors tag their work accordingly.

I have fallen in love with Celestine and Crescent ever since the original demo was launched for the public ~2 years ago, and I have been developing their story and relationship ever since. New characters have entered the picture, as Lorwolf released and I was gifted with the prettiest of wolves that I will cherish up until the end of time.

All my wolves have stories of their own, but not all my wolves are Starchasers. And as such, Fazerdaze will write a masterlist with all of the short stories centering around them.
