*disclaimer, some of the advice here is given on personal opinion as the best to start the game off while you learn

• Den

➝ Dens

▹ these are where your wolves are kept

▹ you may purchase a maximum of 40 additional slots per den for pebbles (each slot's price increases by 1,000 pebbles) for a maximum of 50 slots per den

▹ you may have a maximum of 10 dens, including your first free one

▹ each additional den's price increases by 10ms & includes 10 free slots

▹ you can rename your den by clicking the pencil on upper righthand corner of the map above Nana

➝ Nana

▹ when you start getting a lot of wolves, using Nana to play with their companions can save you a lot of time!

▹ Nana charges 100 pebbles per companion to play with them

▹ personally, I only find Nana profitable when I have at least 15-20 companions that award pebbles

➝ Feed All

▹ this button is useless. dont use it!

➝ Manage Auto Feed

▹ any time you obtain a new food you should check your autofeed! many foods that can be cooked/have other uses do not autofeed but some do

▹ as of the time of writing this guide, these are the foods that are known to need to be disabled from being autofed

banana bread, buttered bread, dragon betta, honey rye bread, midnight betta, red potatoes, rye bread, walnut bread

➝ Organise

▹ this is how you rearrange wolves and move them from one den to the other

▹ on desktop, drag and drop the wolves into the order you want and then click save

▹ on mobile, click the up/down arrow beside a wolf to move it up one slot or down one slot until you get it to the desired position. once you are done moving them all, click save

▹ if you want to rearrange den order & move wolves, you must do these in 2 separate actions (move wolves to new den, then organize or organize wolves, save, then move wolves to new den)

➝ Purchase Space

▹ purchase an additional slot for the den you currently are in

▹ each den's slots starts at 1000 pebbles and each slot price increases by 1000 pebbles (slot 1 = 1000p, slot 2 = 2000p, slot 10=10kp)

• Companions

➝ Companions can helop you battle in campaign as well as award loot when played with while attached to a wolf.

▹ current max level for each companion is 10 at the time this guide was written

▹ the Total Companion Level is important for referrals! You need a total companion level of at least 50 to claim a referral reward (see Account Settings for more info about referrals)

▹ default setting shows companions you own or have achieved some kind of level with

▹ you can show all companions by checking the box & clicking Search

▹ viewing each companion will show the Possible Rewards (for playing with it) and the Possible Combat Loot (if defeated in Gauntlet or Campaign)

• Nest

➝ you may have a maximum of 5 nests

➝ when wolves are bred, they need to be nested after 3 days

➝ nesting lasts 24hrs, then you may come back and click Give Birth to birth puppies

➝ regardless of how many puppies your wolf is having, you must have 4 empty den slots to give birth

• Inventory

➝ this shows you all of you available inventory

➝ items equipped to wolves, in trades, or on the Flea Market are not shown

➝ this is where you sell extra items to make money!

➝ click Sell to Vendor then select the quantity of the items you want to sell

➝ items have a limit of selling 100 of each item at a time as of the time this guide was written

▹ BEWARE - some items are useful and should not be Vendor Sold!

Trinkets are a great item to sell for pebbles! I do not recommend vendor selling anything else. The following items have uses for hunting at the time of writing this guide and should not be Vendor Sold: Blue Agate, Liontail Nytha Spines, Moonlight Rose, Nomad's Luck, Common Hunting Trophy)

• Demo

➝ this is where you can preview wolves and see how they will look with different genes and breeds

▹ load any wolf's ID and you can view it as an adult or with different genes

➝ it also has a Puppy Predictor

▹ the Puppy Predictor will tell you if 2 wolves are too closely related to be bred *WARNING* at the time of writing, there is a bug where if a puppy & adult wolf are put in the predicotr, it does not always catch that they are related

▹ Load the 2 Wolves you want to see in the Demo, then Preview a male & female. It will show you the colors that they can produce as well as possible puppies, just like it would on the Breeding page

▹ I prefer to see color ranges by inputting the colors on http://lw.fintastic.net/

• LW runs on UTC time. At midnight UTC, the new day in LW starts and daily activities reset.

Moonstone Shards

• moonstone shards can be crafted into moonstones in Crafting.

➝ 1 moonstone takes 10 shards & 5 bone paste to make

• moonstone shards are earned throughout various play scenarios in the game

you can earn a maximum of 224 shards a week at the time this guide was made

➝ 25 shards from a combination of professions and gauntlet

➝ 3 shardss from daily activities

➝ 1-7 shards per day for voting in the pageant (shard amount grows each day)

➝ placing in the pageant can also earn you an additional 10-30 shards (not included in the about maximum since they are not guaranteed for all players)

• Vaulting Items

➝ there is no current system in place

➝ some players use the FM to hold important items so they do not use or sell them, they just put them on the FM for the most MS they can so nobody buys them (cons to this are you have to relist them every 7 days)

➝ some players make a deal with a friend and start a TRADE (which requires the other player to add items and you to confirm it) with them and put all their important items in it. (cons to this are you cant message the friend or complete any other trades without canceling your hold)
