[Pebble Sink, WW Boost] Potion of Charisma

I know a lot of people aren't super enthused about the low chance of actually recruiting a Wild Wolf, so I had an idea that might be a good pebble sink: a consumable item (flavored however the devs want, the potion of charisma was just my first thought) that increases the chance of successfully recruiting your next WW by a certain percent. And if they still fail, they get more than one knucklebone token out of it so that it doesn't feel like a complete waste of the item.

My suggestion is for pebbles in the MM as that would both make them more accessible to new users and also act as a pebble sink.

I'm not personally attached to wild wolves specifically and haven't successfully gotten one yet (save the time my den was full... friend gave me a consolation WW for my heartbreak XD) but I know it's a bit of a divisive topic among users. I just figured this might be a nice compromise.

I actually love this idea. Another possibility could be an item (similar to what you described, honestly) that, instead of increasing the likelihood of a WW joining your pack, it could just increase the likelihood of WW encounters? Perhaps a perfume you'd spray on your wolf/wolves, and its effect would last for a certain period of time (X campaign encounters or X hours, whatever).

But in either or any case, support from me!

I like both options! Maybe they can both be put into place. Could pay an NPC to guide you to local wolf hang outs for the day, or for an hour or two. Starts off at like 10k at first, and increases an additional 10k each time you ask? 1k like the other pebble sinks would be too little for the service.

I love both ideas a lot! Both the lure for more encounters and charisma for upping the likelihood of successfully befriending them :)

Support the concept and @Synesthesia 's idea specifically! It would make sense for the wild wolves to have their own packs/common areas to which the player could be guided in exchange for increasing amounts of pebbles

An additional thought for this. Maybe there could be a variable potion that ensures wolves have a closer range of colors? Say 50k to keep all the colors on a WW withing like 5 or each other? Enough to give variety, and a decent amount of breeding stock, but also enough to not make it over powered.

Oh I like Synesthesia's last addition. Within 5 might be a bit tight, and for me quite personally I am not always a huge fan of wolves with all the same colours, so perhaps some different options could be used here or a larger range. Although at this point I'm also just a bit desperate for pebble sinks tbh
