Apparel try-on?

Is there any way to preview apparel on your wolves? It's hard to tell what's going to look good sometimes, and it would be nice to be able to try something on without buying it first.

Is this a feature? And if not, are there plans to add it to the game?

There is not a way to do this yet. In the Discord and in the Forums, some Custom Apparel artists can do a preview of their own stuff for you on a specific wolf if you ask. It's not difficult for them and most say they are happy to do it to help people choose what will look nice on their wolf.

We have speculated a lot about this in the Discord and no one has officially said anything but the common speculation is this is unlikely to be something easy to do for custom apparel and so no one is holding out much hope for it in the future.

Workaround: You can preview it yourself by looking at the regular preview, right click -> inspect, download the CA's PNG by copying the link, resize it to 750x600, and slap it on top of a downloaded wolf's image in whichever editor you like. I use Paint.NET for this simple function. EDIT: I made a full tutorial on how to do this.

They really should code it so you can preview it on the site, though.
