@ApricityFae Thanks. The largest fantasy book I have read had more than 1000 pages, (Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon). Started to gradually try horse riding again after a nasty but not too serious fall. The horse I started was called Maetika a lovely creamish gold horse also very cheeky.

How did you like Priory? Have you read the (prequel? sequel? I can't remember) I thought Priory was fun but towards the end I felt like I could tell the characters were all being forced into these positions for the eventual big bad, and for the big bad to be looming the entire book it was kinda.... too easy to defeat haha.

@Brunette Yes, I loved it although it took me about 4 days to read it. I saw the prequel but haven't chosen to buy it yet as waiting for it to be available in paperback. I do have the first three books of Samantha Shannon's other series but am currently reluctant to start it.
