All the new companions are super cute! I'm kinda surprised by how many new ones we've gotten and just wanted to talk about them lol. The referral pets especially are adorable? Mythical two headed pomeranians! and the little porcupines! What are yall's favorites?

yeah i love these new doggos ! tbh the referral companions got me reinterested in a lot of parts of the site that i sort of drifted away from . i didn't care much for companions ( because i was never very invested in FR familiars and i brushed them off similarly ) . that meant less incentive to fill my den with wolves to attach them to and level them with . and because i didn't have more things to level , i wasn't campaigning as much . which meant i was not cooking / farming as much because i didn't really need the stamina with the giant surplus of food i've collecting .

but after picking the referral doggos up , i decided to unlock a new den , buy a bunch of wolves off the flea market , attach them and other companions , and have been spending time in the campaign / hunting again + farming / cooking / fishing ( through koda ) in turn . so basically i'm suddenly interacting with nearly every other part of the site because i like these new companions lol ( and now i'm tempted to try collecting them all just for the fun of it . )

anyways overall my favorite companion would probably be the starlume orthlus because i adore ethereal , spacey vibes , although it probably goes without saying at this point that i adore all the versions . besides the new ones , i think the canictonis are really clever designs . and when i was looking over KS stuff that i missed out on , the chiropta does stand out as the one i will probably try to get even if i don't decide to try and get a full collection 'v'

I love Starlume Orthus, its so mythical looking!

@Mem - That's pretty exciting for you, trying a new playstyle out! What's been your favorite profession so far? Wow, I hadn't seen a full size image of the starlume orthus, it's so adorable and ethereal :D

@lighted - Me too, especially having seen it up close now hahaha. The little glowing paws are such a cute touch, like it's floating.

thank you ! to clarify , i had already done quite a bit of leveling in the different professions , i simply stopped being as attentive to most of them over time because i did not feel much incentive to use them . while i started the game managing everything very persistently , by last week i'd remember to throw stuff in to cook like once a day at most for instance haha . my profession levels are at 160 at the moment , despite my attention for them waning so significantly until now . with fishing being my lowest at 9 because i only use koda for that oops .

anyways , my favorite profession from the start was hunting , and that has returned as something i'm enjoying again thanks to my new-found companion appreciation lol . i do hope we get more hunts / possible reward rebalancing along the way , but in the meantime i enjoy coming up with team combinations to send out , and it does feel better now that i actually appreciate the passive xp it gives .

@Mem - Hahaha fishing is my lowest too. The hunting is nice, it's a fun way to make use of the companions for sure! I like that it gives reason to use specific wolf/companion combos, kinda gives them a "personality" to see a hunt and think "oh I know just who to grab for this one" lol. It would be nice to have some new hunts, maybe some rare scenarios?

I have wanted to level up and collect all of the companions since joining...I love being able to fight with them ! The orthrus are so precious, I love my Starlume one the most but my favorite companion is the Forager Broch !!! Badger-squirrel friend !! With veggies !!!

I love the new referral companions! They are adorable and will probably be a long term goal i'll be working towards for a while to get all 5 haha. But my favorite is the Lynx Point Lunaria

@Cealygosa - The brochs are so cute!! I love how they have a carrot in their mouth! And the big fluffy tails.

@Dorian - I have to agree, those are some of my favorites too. I nabbed one for one of my progens and can't imagine changing it. Fairly sure RL cats have a secret third eye too sometimes :P

I love the lil doggo!! Reminds me of my girl pet, gets me all sentimental hehe :'> Lorwolf companions in general have such creative fantastical spins, i too plan on collecting them all eventually (or at least, the ones that are achievable for my f2p self lol)

My new fave is either the Rustfluff Orthrus, or the Rattlespine Nytha!
