Questions Regarding G1-G# Breeding

Hey there! Hope you're having a good one. :]

Seeing as I'm fairly new to breeding games (my prior experience is via FR), I had a few questions regarding breeding one of my progens with a G2 in my den:

  1. Would the offspring of a G1-G2 pairing be considered G3? Or a G2/G3 split?
  2. Assuming their color combos work well, would the offspring have decent worth, despite not being from two G1 parents?
  3. Would it be better for me to breed my progen with another G1 instead?

I'm more looking to breed pretty pups and make a decent side income over maximizing profits. However, I don't want to affect my progen's future offspring's value, in case it's better to have them be paired with another G1 instead. Again, I'm relatively new to this gameplay mechanic (+ interacting with player markets on pet sites), so any help is much appreciated.

Thank you for your time and answers in advance. Have a great rest of your weekend! o/

(P.S When you release a wolf, does it disappear from their parents' offspring list? I searched around for an answer to this, but couldn't find any.)

As the site economy is right now, yes G2s are worth more than G3+ wolves. There seems to be a growing market for 'true/pure' generation pups, that is pups with same generation parents.

So yes, if you want to stand a chance at selling, ideally breed your progen with another G1. You should have made two progen wolves? Some players especially look for 'progen pups' because of their low relation chance i.e 'fresh blood' to breed with.

As to your other question, no released wolves don't vanish from your offspring lists.

@Avessa

Thank you very much for your detailed answers, I really appreciate it! That makes a lot of sense. I do have my two progens still, but unfortunately, their color ranges are wildly different. That was on me for getting too excited with the range of customization Lorwolf has to offer, haha.

Cheers, take care! :]
