as a CA artist i would certainly appreciate this immensely . for one , i've already dealt with the frustration of accidentally sending myself copies of a CA rather than putting them in the marketplace , and am essentially 'stuck' with them unless i go around and try to peddle them individually through the forums or discord . ( i simply took the loss and have them sitting in my inventory still ) . i do not like the idea of other people feeling 'stuck' or inconvenienced by having purchased my CA in a similar fashion - especially considering the state of previews at the moment , although naturally that is a matter that ought to be looked at for its own sake .

additionally , i do not intend to continue listing every CA i make , regardless of whether i am active on the site . it's too much to manage , and i grow tired of my old work over time . if someone is looking for a piece i've made , and i am not selling it anymore , i see no reason to cut off an easy way for them to find someone who is selling a copy they have through the seamlessness of the flea market . the forums would still be an option for those looking to trade non-currency or seek offers of course .

on that note , i do not really understand what this would have to do with artists leaving or staying on the site . if this was a discussion as to whether CA could be resold / traded at all , i suppose i would understand the relevance . perhaps someone can explain what they mean by this point since it has been brought up a few times . but as is , not allowing CA on the flea market as it pertains to that simply seems like it is making things as unnecessarily convoluted for someone looking to sell / buy the CA of an absent artist as it is for everyone else looking to trade outside the CA marketplace .

the one downside i could see for this is people not realizing they can purchase CA through the marketplace rather than the flea market , and this being taken advantage of by people upcharging what is available . but given that this would be pretty universally understood as scummy behavior with social consequences , i think it would be a minor issue .
