You can ping using IDs now instead of just with usernames, which is amazing and I wish more sites would implement that, but there is one issue with it - usernames are still way more visible than IDs and copying someone's ID requires navigating to another page to get to it. It would be very helpful if they were displayed on forum posts somewhere!

Agree. I assume there was a plan for that eventually? But it's a big pain. For now I'm putting my ID in my pronoun section to help others out--but that practice is probably not going to be widely adopted and shouldn't really need to be either.
