i heard about lorwolf through tumblr, someone just mentioned it in a random post i found that i forget whose and what post, but they'd drawn a bunch of their wolves and i was like "huh. i have never heard of this site before. wonder what THAT'S all about" i googled it, saw you could make brightly coloured wolves, messed around with the demo, fell in love, and immediately registered.

so far i'm LOVING this site!! i'm a player of flight rising but that very much has become a check in once a day kind of thing for me; lorwolf so far feels very much more like a traditional RPG to me in some aspects, so i think i'll be adding it to my list of pet sites that i frequent :> i was admittedly a little lost at first with what to do but i got the hang of it pretty quickly after i figured out the gameplay loop

i'm a general animal lover, video game lover, i love mmorpgs and anything that has character customisation. if you can make a character and have a decent amount of control over it i am ALL OVER it. i love putting my personal stamp on things

also i picked darkspine and i have 0 regrets <3 purple tricksters my beloved

flight rising is the only other one i'm super active on but i'm also on neopets, i basically just check in on my dailies on that at the moment. i was on chicken smoothie and dragon cave back in the day but i only visit those every once in a blue moon now, unless i get the sudden urge

waaaay back in the day i played aftermath zone (amz) and i was mega into that, but unfortunately even after pushes to get it back up it looks like it's dead again :( another site that i kinda miss that i played aaaages ago is alien adoption agency, like before it was made super cartoony and it was a lot more weird and early 2000s internet.

on the subject of mmorpgs, i've played too many mmos in the past to count (warcraft, tera, ragnarok online, tibia, to name just a few) but my mainstay is guild wars 2 - my main on there is a charr daredevil called hestia throatgouge! i also play ff14 sometimes and can usually be found on adamantoise as magnus solvarus, a very cheerful looking viera guy :D it doesn't really count as an mmo but i also "play" a lot of second life, i'll take extended breaks and then come back and be obsessed for a while

ohhh i remember fer.al... people are working on creating something similar to it and i really hope it takes off. i really got put off fer.al once they brought in the season pass because the jackalope was locked behind it :C guess i got out while the going was good given what happened to it in the end, but i'm still sad, because it was a beautiful game with a lot of potential

i've tried a bunch of others like that but nothing quite hits the itch yknow?

oooooh i love d&d, i played a lot in university but i haven't had the chance to play in years. i liked playing thief-type characters, though the most fun i had was with a shark-person witch character i made a custom race for, he was a healer who ended up with a half-orc boyfriend who was one of the other player characters and it was really cute how it all happened :> i love stuff like that where it just kinda happens and improves the overall story of the game you're playing!

i had a thief khajiit a few years ago and currently have a sorcerer dragonborn who the dm accidentally made a bit overpowered. oops xD

@Murkwood ooughghh yeah i was REALLY close to getting the jackalope customisations i actually WANTED before i gave up on it, and by the time i remembered it was gone...

also i love dragonborn and khajiit, i usually play khajiit whenever i play skyrim fdhskjf. sorcerers are pretty powerful anyway, i remember all the debates we used to have about how the game was balanced in favour of wizards, but that was back in 3.5rd Edition, i have no idea how the game's changed since

@Nap hello!! yes any game where i can sit and do tasks for that boost of serotonin is one i enjoy, and mmos are just full of buttons that make numbers go up or things i can collect and it's just. oughgh yes. the endgame is always making your character look amazing

I find LW to be a lot more engaging than FR myself. I quite enjoy the gameplay loop and actively look forward to coming to the site each day, whereas FR I get stressed if I so much as forget to feed my den for a single day, lol (to which I then proceed to ignore the site for months because uh oh, no more food for that well-fed bonus).

I wanted to pick Darkspine as well, initially, but I just could not get over the snooty nobles, lol. So I went to warmongering frost wolves instead. (´∀｀)
