Arena problem

The fifth spot in team never opens to me. I tried play today, I tried yesterday and week before. It's always the same for me, every match only 4 spots are open. Is this some kind of mechanic I don't understand or bug?

check your level on the side, same as your paw counter. does it say level 5? i'd say a refresh. hm. if you still have 4 slots i suggest you report that as a bug (side note, in battle, there's no one occupying the slot, right? just out of curiosity, i dont know why im asking this)

I had no idea about level thing, must check this out next match. As for who occupying this empty slot: sometimes it stays empty, sometimes random creature from my bought pull appears.
