I noticed in the recent patch notes that the new encounter additions uses numbers, not the venue names.

I believe this is confusing, because for one, the venues do not have the numbers added to them in their names, so there's no official indication of what, say, "Goldsea 1" actually means. and for two, player language for them is inconsistent, many players would say "Goldsea 1" = the first "sword area" or officially, Zanthous, not the first actual area, Othenia.

I don't think the game should officially adopt that language or anything, I'm just saying, since the venues are not officially marked by numbers, either mark them by numbers in the campaign, or use their actual names when talking about them in updates or patch notes. Or hey, both!

100% agree! I actually interpreted as how most players would call it. Made even worse that they were initially placed in the 'first' sword area incorrectly. Making be very confused when the scenario suddenly disappeared and popped up in the very first area. The Areas have unique names, please use them to avoid confusion (and to make it all seem a bit more professional/neat)
