Hello, I'm Haven!

This is my first pet game so please bear with me while I figure it out lol. I'm an artist and I also like to roleplay (when I have the time)! I really love my wolves, and I'm excited to see what kind of puppies I get.

I have a few questions if anyone wouldn't mind helping me out:

• how do I get more wolves?
• how do I make money?
• what is the difference between moonstones and pebbles? is it just that I have to pay for one and not the other? A little lost on that.
• what are the tickets for?
• what is the pageant for?
• is custom apparel all the clothes I can buy for my wolves?

I'm sure I'll have.....a lot more questions later but for right now that's about it!

I can help answer some of your questions, but feel free to ask for more details/clarifications if anything is confusing!

• You can get more wolves by breeding your progenitors (the two wolves you started with), buying wolves from others on the Flea Market (under "Shops") in the topbar, or by befriending "wild wolves" in the Campaign (under "Play" in the topbar. If you click on any explorable area in the campaign and then scroll down before you actually hit the "Explore" button, you'll see a list of all the possible encounters in that area. You're looking for "Encounter: Wild Wolf" -- but beware, you'll probably need to try this encounter several times before getting a WW of your own, the odds aren't great!
• You can make money by completing Activities around the site (you'll see your daily available Activities just under the topbar menu), selling items in your inventory (using the "Sell to Vendor" button; trinkets are generally good to sell!), and selling wolves/items to other players using the Flea Market.
• Moonstones are the premium currency, and can be purchased from the site for real-life currency. The exact exchange rate is in flux right now, but moonstones (ms) are far, far more valuable than pebbles. Moonstones are used for certain items in the Mole Market (including specific marking & breed change items), and people can also list their own wolves/items/Custom Apparel for moonstone prices when they're selling on the Flea Market. You can also get Moonstone Shards by doing various activities around the site. When you gather 10 of these, you can craft them into a moonstone with the Crafting activity!
• The tickets are event currency for weekly events -- currently, we're in the Farming Festival. The event changes each week, and it's typically themed around one of the site Professions. Under "Shop" you can find the festival vendor, who sells exclusive items in return for tickets.
• The Pageant is a weekly activity in which you can enter your wolf into, basically, a fashion show against other user's wolves! Voting in the Pageant every day is one of the easiest sources of Moonstone Shards, so it behooves you to check the site daily to vote if you're trying to stack those up. And if your wolf places in the top 3, you get a reward!
• Custom Apparel is not the only apparel available. The Mole Market also has a small Apparel section with equippable items created by the site itself, instead of by other users. The stock resets every 6 hours, so keep checking back -- or, you can try to buy the apparel you're interested in from other users in the Flea Market.

How do you get more wolves?
There are numerous methods! You can:

• Breed wolves you own
• Use a "stud" wolf from the Flea Market to breed
• Find a Wild Wolf (WW) during your journey in Campaign
• Buy wolves from other users on the Flea Market

How do you make money?
Unfortunately I don't know a ton about that as my focus is usually somewhere else - but there are Guides made by others that you may find useful! I guess my general advice would be "do the daily activities"...it can add up!

Moonstones and Pebbles
Moonstones (MS) are basically the "premium" currency, whereas Pebbles (P) are the "basic" currency. As such, Moonstones are worth much more than Pebbles! While paying for MS is an option to obtain them, you can also collect "Moonstone Shards" from various areas. These allow you to craft MS for free!

What are tickets for?
Tickets or "vouchers" are the currency for weekly events! Currently, you may have noticed that we're in the Farming Festival, which is all about Farming. Each event has different items that can be purchased, and the events cycle each week. And yes, when a new week rolls over, you keep your tickets for that event!

What's the Pageant?
The Pageant is a daily event that lets you show off a wolf and earn some Moonstone Shards! Every day you can vote on a wolf of someone else's that you like. Make sure you check in - the Pageant vote is always a Daily Activity!

What's Custom Apparel?
Custom Apparel (CA) is special because it's custom - everything you see there was designed by players of the site! You can even upload your own. Don't worry, though...these aren't the only clothes you can get! The site has its own apparel that you can Craft or purchase from the Mole Market.

@ABird @Tisquares Thank you both for the help!! I did find a guide for food as well so I'm trying to get as much of that as possible. I'm really excited about the fact I could make my own outfits for my wolves, that seems really fun! Hopefully I'll have enough money to get some wolves soon too, there are so many pretty ones :0

Also I hope I come across a wild wolf soon, that would be exciting!

hello there, welcome! I will add onto something about wild wolves - each failed befriend attempt will result in a knucklebone token, after you obtain 50 of these (you can buy them from other players too) a hunt will become available to obtain a wild wolf, so a pity system basically. :D
