@Baubor this is so reasonable thank you?? I haven't had the mental energy to pay enough attention but I might adopt this strategy too bc it seems very low stress for my unfocused self

Cashews, walnuts, water, glowing mushrooms, bamboo, snails and wild isopods... I might put corn and broccoli back on the menu. I sell my basic cooked foods and the complex meals are for the gardener.

Right now it makes no sense to cook anything to feed the dogs except plain fish, because your cooking slots will produce more stamina per slot that way by a simply ridiculous amount, unless someone realizes how silly that is and starts giving you more complex items per craft to make up the difference. Crafting food for the farming npcs is even a bit questionable right now if the bug reports about getting less food per harvest from them vs just ignoring the plot yourself is still accurate. :P

Right now mine just get cooked fish or other 1-ingredient items like eggs and cooked meat, and unless something about the current system changes, they can keep enjoying that indefinitely, I'm not going to waste cooking slots just because the recipes are cute.

I feed the doggos well. The larger food recipes are nice because then I'm not going back to Thumbs every five minutes. XD

ohhhhh what happy pups!! that is the den I'd wanna be part of for real @ w @!! I like the raw wheat in there too for just a little extra crunch

I'm not gonna show off auto-feed because I actually don't do that typically xD I always manually feed or wait for stamina to come back... most of the time they get the cooked foods (that aren't the big meals, like cooked meat/koi/bug meat), some of the farming foods, guppies, and other random small things that aren't used in meals xD

I just really like the cooking feature, so I made a point of getting all the recipes I could. I thank the stars for the people doing to the work get them all together. Mostly when it come to the big meals I'll do focused cooking on the weekend, so I have a built up amount for the week while I'm at work and have downtime. Once I get through all my bug feasts I'll be building up he fish stocks of normal cooked meals etc.

In short, if it's not a gardener food, or part of a recipe, with the exception of eggs and bacon, they get auto fed. XD

Trying to give them meat , fish , vegetables. Balancing their diet even if they are not real. But those food are mostly the ones I have a lot of and can be spare for feeding
