The new breed and genes will hopefully be hard pebble sinks. A 750kp/1mp breed would help. no more cheap breeds or genes at 50kp. That'll be a start. (You can't convince me Skydancers aren't a major reason why FR has balance, besides the raffle system being a huge permanent pebble sink).

Sadly, den tabs and profession expansions are not a pebble sink that will help the economy in any way. It'll be back up high within weeks again if they converted (not to mention the outrage of those who already paid moonstones).

They cannot change it this late into the game easily. And it was never going to be a good pebble sink anyway because they need rl money to support more wolves haha. oof.

@Synesthesia For the CA, 100ms leave the system with each (1) order (batch of 5) CA printed. Making it one of the biggest reliable MS sinks. But it's also almost completely incompatible with drawing in pebbles and probably being part of the pebble inflation cause people want CA. And the CA artist wants to recoup the MS they spent.

It might help if people could post 1 or 2 of their batch for pebbles instead of all either MS or all pebbles.

@Synesthesia ca's are a moonstone sink because they require artists to buy a custom apparel token from the mm (100ms) per every 5(?) copies of the ca.

edit;; ninja'd, sorry for the extra ping!

No worries about the extra ping! It makes sense. I think what might be better is rather than doubling each time for the professions would be to just increase by 25 each time? a 25-50-75 feels a little less burdensome? A little bit easier to refund for people who might have bought something already as well.

Are you buying moonstones, or selling pebbles? Because selling pebbles will always get you a better rate. I was selling pebbles for MS at a rate of 9.8kp:1MS for days there. Sellers pretty much always have the advantage--they just have to be a little more patient than buyers. You can also sometimes get a slightly better rate by selling in small quantities (ex, sell one stack of 10kps for 1 moonstone instead of 100kps for 10 moonstones) as some buyers either don't have enough MS for the bulk deals or only need a small amount pebbles to finish a purchase.

Three weeks ago, the rate for buying MS was also over 20kps:1MS. I know because I hadn't figured the above out yet and bought a bunch of MS at that rate (weeps).

There was, for a while, someone was actually selling both pebbles and MS at the same time. Best I could figure, they were getting a lot of extra pebbles on the MS sales, then using the pebbles to get more MS. Very clever.

The rates are creeping back up but aren't back to where they were. It's 13-14kps:1MS if you're selling pebbles at time of this posting. That being said, they probably will go back up to the old rates eventually. IMO this isn't something to get too discouraged about--honestly, I think it's kind of fun. Hoard your pebbles (or sink them into shop pets etc.,) and sell when rates are good.
