There’s a club. Oikawa says not to worry about clubs that aren't from our own pack in his cutesy voice, and Iwaizumi looks into the middle distance, as if he's seeing another one of the monsters that crawl beyond the mortal veil. He always does this when his mate talks.

It’s their fault for being named after Japanese animation characters like their forefathers before them. In any case, I find there’s a certain power to alliances, but there are also certain rules to them. Certain guidelines. We don't yet have a member who meets the stringent criteria for being named after the virtue of Patience, but I will find one. I have to. I can’t come home if I don’t… I won't listen to Oikawa's mocking voice if I fail.

Day 001 - 004

The quest wasn’t much of a quest. The club asked for patience, but I didn’t need much of it. Four days. Five wolves. One mocking laugh. I expected months, if not years, of traveling, but I've returned home with my new friends.

I met Severo while I followed the sound of opera singing through the jungle. He immediately told me I was ridiculous for trudging through the green after his creepy vocals, but I don't think so. I know he's running from someone, but a friend is a friend, so I let him follow.

Iwaizumi had shoved fifty knucklebone tokens into my sack to expedite things, he said. He worries a lot more than Oikawa does about sending his pups into the unknown. There are creatures who would gladly hunt smaller beings for the sheer joy of it, rather than for food. Do not waste. It’s disrespectful. Lots of maxims to remember. I almost wasted my shot at getting a fabled creature to be my friend.

Luckily, I woke up in time.

As of now, they don’t have a personality. I’ve been told that ascended beings like her take time to develop them. I have offered my Crunchyroll subscription in the hopes that it would speed her journey along.
