So, I noticed today that I dont seem to be able to cook any kind of guppy. This seems odd because seemingly every other fish i get from fishing (so far; i only have the first 2 unlocked) can be cooked. If theyre not supposed to be able to be cook-able, it kinda seems like an oversight because you only get a few more fish in Backwoods Brook than Peaceful Pond, so if you get a lot of guppies you actually get more energy total from fishing in the lower-level area.

heres some data on the energy point:

this is from a trip to Peaceful Pond. I got 9 total fish that, when cooked, will have a total of 180 energy that i can feed to wolves. (9 x 20)

Now, here is a screenshot from Backwoods Brook:

As you can see, I got 12 fish - 3 more than Peaceful Pond. 7 of these, however, are guppies, which cant be cooked, so its only a total of 135 energy once all the salmon are cooked ((5 x 20) + (7 x 5)).

So you can see how I think this could be a pretty big oversight.

Pretty much everyone has been asking to boil the guppies since launch lol

yeah guppies cannot be cooked. i wonder if theyre going to be adding new recipes as time goes on but for now those guppies are spared

guppies, char & greylings cant be cooked - I imagine those fish will be recipes in future updates (bear ribs, bird meat, algeel tails, sunpincher claws were all fairly recent recipe additions!)

Too lazy to make a new thread so just bumping this since we got new recipes and still no signs of a guppy one, which means the second fishing area is still inferior.
