I have four clans named after a companion native to Goldsea followed by the location of the clan. Machaira-Cove Clan is based on the cove they live along while Vespen-Dune Clan lives in the sand dunes to the north

Vespen-Dune wolves are named after birds

There are also the Outlanders who name themselves after thorny and poisonous plants

For pups I don't intend on keeping I do name them whatever in case I might need to release them.

@spectralArtist - Cool! I really like that you have an idea of each pack's geography and each one has a naming convention.

I'm naming littermates themed names, but using a different theme for each litter so I can tell them apart when looking at the parents' offspring lists.

My progens are named after h*ll and the others are named various words meaning scummy / pathetic, e.g. Wastrel, Vermin, Mudlark.

This may change as my pack expands, but as for now I love my rotten garbage dumppack

I’ve added a few more dens. Noticeably, one for Greek/Roman gods and goddesses.

I love to name my Starter wolves' puppies after the theme of the full moon they were bred on. Some of my surnames have a theme to do with a wolf body part, like tail, paw, fur.

I'm really unorganized with my naming conventions. I started off wanting to do a Greek mythology theme and then pivoted when I started naming my offspring names that just came to me. I got tired to trying to make some sort of cohesive lore since Greek mythology is already so all encompassing.

One convention I sometimes decide to do is naming pups in a litter with the same first letter. E.g. a "C" group: Carmen, Camille, Carl etc.

I used to try and go for german nouns as names but between LW and FR I’m running out of steam, haha. Right now it’s more “whatever comes to mind first”.
