What sort of naming conventions do you have? I have four separate 'Packs' all named differently. The first one's based off of stars and space, the second is all food based names, the third is a beachy mess, and the fourth of my tabs are all going to be named after artists, contemporary, and classic.

First thing that comes to my head, usually!

My rule is that it has to have something to do with nature and it has to be one word!

It's usually

1. Take two words that fit the wolf's theme and put them together.

2. Name them after characters (it's,,, something I like to do, it's fun!!!)

OR

3. Idk. Just. Name. Two-letter names are fun.

Most of my woofers are fan!wolves so they're usually named after their character. Otherwise, I have a soft spot for naming them after fictional languages, ala Vulcan from Star Trek or Sindarin from LOTR <3

When naming a wolf I use a translation website to translate a word into different languages and use one of those words for my wolf's name.

My pack lore is that they live in the far north along the coast and have trademark blue coats; so most of their names relate to water, cold, or the color blue!

Thus far I've got Sol and Desert Shadow. So far, very on the nose with my desert theme...

Edit: Also I think it's funny that my name is from Greek mythology and Goldsea has this whole Greek philosophy thing going on.

On FR I went full on World of Warcraft themed lair, everything had a name from something in WoW

This time...kinda just naming what...feels right ? My lead wolf is based off my wolf sona, but everything else is kinda random I suppose. I don't have separate packs or any lore going on, just getting pretty wolves and dressing them and breeding them...but I like food names and flower names, and have been using those for my pups
