I'd definitely try them. The visible texture is definitely a mystery, I feel like it would peel apart like a mushroom or something with how it looks. The colors do read as 'do not eat me' and scorpion is known to be bitter, and swan kinda fishy...doesn't actually sound like a good time.

I'd still try it tho.

I’m not sure why but my brain always interprets them to be like Kohakutou, which are little crystal looking candies that are crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside!
