Prologue
As the cold winds blew, the trees rustling as they sway back and forth, some wolves are here and there that are dotting the lines between Goldsea, Icerun, Murkwood, Darkspine, and somewhere called Mistvale that belonged to each wolf around, some stayed in Goldsea while others chose to stay and build their own homes, cities, towns and even a kingdom? Unlikely! A wolf cannot be a king or queen! They do not know a kingdom!
But that's what exactly happened, one kingdom rose as it was built in the heart of Goldsea, a large kingdom of honest wolves, both big and even pup sized, the one who ruled the kingdom was a black-coated, green-timbered, yellow cozen, and red brushed wolf with icy, frosty eyes, this Lorwolf was also a Lupin. Making him an honorable wolf on the Goldsea border...
The King was sitting at his large window, happy about his kingdom, but he was looking through the glass as he peered at every wolf, making sure nothing happened, though a female servant was standing there as she was a Volmyr, a Volmyr with legs on her shoulders as wings were also connected to her shoulders, the female Volmyr was white, with a timbered blizzard color, with a cloud brush, and a maned pastel volmyr. Making the female volmyr a rare one since most Lorwolves are aware that Colors are asleep at night time but also slightly active in the daytime (like real bats do!), and that the female servant is very active during the day, she was probably taught to stay awakened during the day and rest at night...
As the king was looking and watching his kingdom flourish, his kingdom was happy, and everyone was looking forward to a springy time! They wished for a more bountiful season this year from an Elderwolf, though the kingdom was already looking forward to a new moon as well, making the Lorwolves very excited! They even started to make festivals!
But a new moon means a new year! Which The King and his kingdom were looking forward to seeing, hoping to snag a few more citizens along the way and hoping to be happy about everything, Goldsea was needing a better security system, so The King did look for some guards around and sure enough, he has an army now, an army that will lead The King to his conquest about peace treaties!
But as a new citizen entered the kingdom, a female Lupin, her coat was silver, with a blizzard colored timber, a cream cozen, and a sandy brush on her tail and a little bit on her mane that's on her back and part of her fluff, the new citizen quickly got settled and introduced to every-wolven citizen there, the king was curious about this female wolf and he walked away from his window, the female Volmyr servant quickly followed behind the king as she crawled on the ceiling once she put the tray down on a nearby stool that always had greeted the female Volmyr.
"Winter, go and find a guard, and come back quickly." The King ordered the female Volmyr as she was parted away, the female Volmyr was Winter and she was known for her wintery pelt alright! But she was also prized in her pelt, her very thick but soft fur that felt like snow has a furry feel to it, Winter was the only Volmyr to look like the snow, the blizzarding sky, and the snowflakes too.
Anyways as the female Volmyr flew with her wings to her sides, as she transitioned to crawling on the ceiling, she was being stealthy and quiet, and she stopped as she let go and fell to the ground as she landed, how she expected to land; on all four legs, as she fell in front of a guard covered in armor, the guard quickly put up his helmet and saw that it was Winter that fell in front of him.
"Oh hello Miss Winter, say got a guarding position for me?" the guard asked, Winter's eyes lit up with worry and excitement! The guard could tell that something was off and very wrong, so he listened to Winter speaking before he followed after her, keeping up with her fast pace even though she was a Lupin with wings.
"Yes actually, the king needs a guard pronto, so follow me now," Winter commanded, the guard followed quickly behind a he was a Bracchus, built for the need of speed, but Winter quickly and swiftly flew down at an angle, as she dived down on her right side, she also flew right out the door as The King stood at the entrance, the guard was just right behind him...
"Take the female Lupin to my chamber, now Astral." The King commanded, his voice was mad and stern, and he was also impatient a little bit even though he was commanding one of his guards to do a simple and mundane task, the guard wolf was named Astral and he quickly guided the female Lupin that The King told the guard, to take to his chambers.
The King was known for many things, but being interested in something interesting was quite rare, especially towards another wolf, even females were rarer than other male Lupins! Well, as The King sat on his stool behind his desk, the king's head at work on things to pay and everything to get onto, he even looked at a young pup's letter that wanted just a little sibling. The king laughed and wrote a letter back and gave the letter to Winter who was quick as she took the letter to where the little pup lived and came back ready for another task to complete.
But Winter and the king's heads soon turned upon the mysterious female Lupin, and Astral the guard that likes Winter very much, which is obvious from the way he acts to her, but can hide anything well. But Volmyr's are better at sensing, and Winter knows what Astral feels as he feels, but she chose to ignore the feelings Astral felt.
"My humble apologies, welcome female lupin!" The King said as he lifted his fluffy and bristled head, and neck to look at the new lupin at the king's mercy, Winter and Astral watched and listened... Listened to what The King asked and told of the new visitor that the king wanted to see for himself... Maybe a little weird but who knows?
"Your name?" The King asked the mysterious female lupin, the female lupin looked up at the king with much contempt, as she didn't seem to like him at all or his actions and words towards her, she might be like the king: a complete AroAce! But that was rare nowadays, wolves being themselves and looking after one another, but having fun in the same way...
"My name is Aspen, but please call me Breeze." the female lupin answered the king, she then was dismissed by the king as he didn't care and assigned her as a Citizen for the kingdom, the king scoffed and then went back to work, Winter and Astral guided Aspen to the town inside the kingdom, or moreover the city of the kingdom as the city was connected to the kingdom after all.
But when the king was alone, and sat back on his stool at his window, he didn't care much anymore for his kingdom, but he took great care of everything that he had: a great kingdom, a royal life, a life of his passion and choices.
The king didn't care much for the female Lorwolves in his kingdom, but he knew that he must act fast with the other two kingdoms in the hearts of their bordered homes, though the king scoffed once more and sighed at his letter that the king of Goldsea was making, a passionate letter that he would finish when he had time tomorrow, he had the check the borders of his home first in the morning...
But the king then decided to check the library for any updates on his ancestor's past kingdoms, he even made sure to bring a guard just in case a female wolf decided to try something, but the king and Astral were standing in front of the library's grand doors, the doors engraved in markings and some markings even showing wolves, other animals that were here were lost to time, never to be seen again.
The king pressed his left paw on the door and grabbed the knobe when it didn't open, the king then pushed the door open and walked into a large room filled with so many books, the king in particular, was searching for a book he wanted to read once more.
"Ah welcome your majesty, interested in the making of your kingdom I see?" the librarian said, the librarian was a male with the utmost black on all over him, though he was also a volmyr like Winter, but his golden eyes said otherwise.
"Yes I am, I am interested in the Elderwolves once more." the king replied to the librarian, he seemed chipper than usual.
"Ah well, I have what you are looking for! The aisle marked B25 is where your two favorite books are, climb the ladder and you'll find them at the top of the bookcase." The librarian said he was also quite happy.
"Thank you Fenix." The king told Fenix, the black volmyr that was checking to mark books, stamping them for other wolves, and organizing them to put them back where they first were, but he also has a very friendly mood and personality.
"You're welcome your majesty, now have a good time reading, I expect my books to be in tip-top shape!" Fenix jokes, but his BOOKED words were true.
As the king searched bookcase B25 for the king's two favorite books, the two books titles were "The King's Kingdom" the first ever documented history about the immortal king and his immortal kingdom, it also talks about how everyone treats the king with utmost respect even though they have families to respect as well...
The king was treated with fairness as he respected his citizens and wolves, and the wolves treated him with fairness and respect as well, a perfect harmonious kingdom full of love and treated fairly and even the most hostile of wolves become quickly attached to this kingdom and become a citizen just by the female wolves and male wolves personalities.
Anyways, the second book that the king was searching for as he found his documented book, the second book was called "The Elder Wolves Knowledge of a Great Kingdom", even though this book was about fantasy, the king of this kingdom successfully made an ecosystem that revolves around currency, family, food, pets, and many more things but currency was the only important thing besides food and water.
"Let's go Astral, I found my two books." the king said as he slid down the ladder and walked over to Fenix the volmyr, the bat-wolf was awaiting the king as he came back to check out.
"Good thing I have my handmade wooden stamp, and with ink I made!" Fenix said he was a clever volmyr and an even more intelligent one as well.
"Now let's check out your books my majesty," Fenix said, he took the two books with caring and gentleness, he then stamped them both on the first page, and gave them back to the king.
"Now have fun reading your majesty!" Fenix told the king, as he and Astral left, Astral also closed the doors to the library, for Fenix's sake of not getting a grudge on Astral, since he is the more shadow furred wolf alongside Fenix of course...
As the king was guided back to his room by Astral, the king stopped as he got defensive about his room, he then started growling at Astral to open the door silently, Astral knew when the king was defensive then a female wolf or male wolf was trying to steal something... Something important from the king.
"Open the door and run in when I say so." the king whispered to Astral, the king slowly started to growl less, and be more silent, as the sound of rummaging was heard through the echoes of the hall and that the king did not like whoever was messing with his stuff.
"Now!" the king said as he and Astral both pinned Aspen to the ground, the king knew something was up with her as she seemed to despise the king, and he could see that in her eyes, the hatred for the king as she disliked him from the start.
"I told my kingdom that if a wolf was trying to steal something, then they would need to find that something was hidden by me." the king told Aspen, he then told Astral to put her in the dungeness jail, Astral did as what the king commanded.
"No! I need to know why!" Aspen shouted, more guards came to put her to sleep with a sleeping dart to the neck, but she still stood her ground. Even when she tried fighting back, fighting back to keep her ground and her question to the king.
But he just watched everything that unfolded as Aspen was taken away to the jail cell, in the dungeon, the king did not care for a female wolf to be punished, he even laughed when she tried to get away from Astral. But lucky that enough guards came in and protected the king instantly, but the guards laughed when the king laughed at himself, they seemed to be more defensive of their ruler who was kind and caring, but deep down hateful and vengeful about nothing.
"And make sure that she learns her lesson appropriately!" the king shouted to the guards as he went to his desk, and sat down on his stool, he had put the books on his desk aside, even when Aspen almost tried to hurt him. She might be a good assassin or traitor for a neighboring kingdom.
"Hm, maybe Aspen will make a good ally." the king told himself, Aspen led the guards, and was chained by her feet, neck, waist, muzzle, and tail, the guards surrounding her took her to a cell perfect for her taste.. From the king's choice as well.
Aspen seemed to have liked the dungeon before examining it and realizing that the cell across was with a couple that was also in jail, the couple didn't seem to have cared for Aspen as she made herself comfortable and she ignored the two wolves being happy and eating the way they wanted when Astral and two other guards started giving every convict their dinner.
Aspen seemed to be excited about her dinner as her cell was a bit more decorative, Astral gave Aspen her delicious dinner as the dinner seemed to be quite royale-like, seeming to have been made especially by her or someone before her, whether or not Aspen didn't care as long as she had her dinner...
At least the kingdom is safe, right? Well yes... The guards that guarded the kingdom by the entrances would always check out what wolf has what, even the caravans of wolves with select different species that come and pass to get a drink at the lake and Kingdom of Happiness seems to be the neighbor that has the access since they did buy out the whole lake but they let anyone drink from any sides, they just are really overprotective of the water sometimes..
