There are three things I want to grind for: Levels, money, and food. Levels take my priorioty, food is managed more or less through the campaign, and I remember being told that the second sword of icerun is the best money spoit, but thats all I know. I want to level my permas as fast as possible to level ten bc I have ADHD and it's hard to grind for hours and hours, especially if there's a better way. Is gauntlet viable or are the food costs too great?

Gauntlet only gives out 1 XP for each round; it's not a viable way for leveling if you want it done fast.

I use Southmarsh, second sword area in Murkwood, to level up to 10. There's only one fight there, but it's a set of three, so three XP for each round, and it isn't terribly rare. I imagine the area in Icerun with the Lapistrixes are the same way. It probably still takes a good length of time, but being able to refresh through them also helps. You can get a fair amount of money from it; they drop plushies, the roses, and I think the agates? I'm not sure on that offhand.

The Neck (in Darkspine) might not be terrible; it has a lot of food, the mobs drop nice things fairly commonly, and there are two fights in there and they show more often than the Colpach fight, so it could be a viable place to level, I just haven't tried it yet; I only go there when I want money and the wolves/fights aren't rare, and it's probably the best place for food.

personally i use icerun 2 to grind for levels and food! the level 20 fishing encounter is very nice and ive accumulated a lot of catfishes from it. if you dont have enough levels to get the encounter, id recommend icerun 3 for levels (the owls are embarrassingly easy to kill) and darkspine 2 for food (the cats and the mantises drop some ingredients for bug soup, the hare encounter is quite common and you can also get some plushies from there, free money!) for money grinding.. well... i dont know. ive seen people grinding in goldsea 4 but it now requires a 2 wolf 2 companion build. which is not. very good for food. id stick to the lower zones like darkspine 2

just know that levels take quite a long time to grind (and a lot of food!) lmao. i usually take like what? 1 day to level a comp to level 10. make sure you have a good stockpile of food if you want to grind, i can send you some corn if you'd like

@Stellori I've been using The Neck to level up to 1-6 and then moving to Icerun second sword to fight the owls, I'll have to check out murkwood.

@monarch I definitely don't have level 20 fishing, i think I'm at level 7 right now! Icerun 3 is the second sword, right? I struggle with food because my wolves have other things to do like mining and hunting and fishing on top of campaign, i would appreciate some corn a lot. wolves definitely aren't carnivores in this game LOL. i suck at the farming stuff because i'm too adhd for it but i did try it and it just didn't work for me.

I just spam any first sword in a zone for a combination of: food, trinkets, experience, and wild wolves...it has never failed me ! I am absolutely stockpiled on food and have maxed out so many companions and almost all my wolves ^>^ currently I like Goldensea sword 1 the most
