To add to my no support, the idea of some sort of giving tree, where you deliberately donate your wolves to, and you visit it to deliberately adopt whatever wolves that are donated there (g1, 2, 3, etc.) might work. But it must be completely separate from releasing and wild wolf encounters.

If it shows offspring,It will be much more difficult to get wild wolf in the future.

If it shows a wild wolf,It's probably just another Wolf that looks the same,This makes the function meaningless.
