Basically, the idea is, when something sells out, instead of getting put back where it is, it should be placed at the end of the CA list. This would allow for older CAs that aren’t selling to slowly move to the first page, where more eyes would see them, and hopefully, would eventually sell.

Two arguments against this:

1. It would separate CA sets.

A lot of sets in the CA market aren’t together anyways, and this could be solved by simply waiting until everything sells to relist the whole set.

2. The first few pages would be flooded with 999ms items.

I don’t have a solid answer for this one. I understand some people have genuine reasons to do this, but I don’t think it should be allowed at all. Perhaps if a thing is left on the CA market for a long time with an extremely inflated price and no sales, mods could send it back? Suggestions for this are appreciated.

Despite some problems, I think this would be healthy for the CA market and prevent people who got on the first page from getting incredibly rich just because of their position.

I think instead of that, more sorting options would be nice from oldest to newest, etc. I go through daily to see if there's anything new. Possibly once more CAs are in the game maybe randomly sort them? Kinda like a "random highlights!" first page or something.

@Shiver I do agree a random highlights page would be good, as well as more sorting options, but that doesn’t really solve the problem for me, because if your apparel gets stuck in the middle of what will eventually be 1/100, the odds of anyone ever seeing that unless you get VERY lucky and have it randomized to the highlights area doesn’t really solve the problem. More sorting would help but it wouldn’t solve this imo.

maybe shuffle them every time the page is loaded by a player [or once every six hours globally like MM]? So nobody has any specific advantage on the default sort and people are encouraged to use the tags

@Reanimagpie I’m neutral on that, if players want it I’d be fine with it, as long as there were a way to sort chronologically, since I like how I’m able to see which order things were submitted in. I still really like the original idea though
