Yeah I'm another wondering why no economy stuff was mentioned despite being told that this was gonna touch on that. What's up with that?

The new stuff is awesome though :'D And there's gonna be pack themed seasonal stuff? Awesome!

The pride stuff is very cute, and the roadmap is a step in the right direction, but I really have to question the priorities the roadmap shows during this really important span of time since the site's launch.

We have professions and items in dire need of more balancing (or balancing at all), but we're considering adding even more professions before that's addressed? These problems are just going to keep piling up and become harder to deal with.

The MS/Pebble problem still hasn't been adequately addressed either, some cycling items and statues selling for 15mil pebbles in the market might be a bandaid solution, but there is no consistency there. I'm not the only one that would still love to hear what the rationale was for changing some of the pebble-sink (that had the potential to be evergreen sinks as the site aged) expansions to moonstones was in the first place.

Aw, I feel bad for snatching snowloon eggs now! I really like all the new stuff. I hope in the future, we'll get other LGBT flags, scarves, etc. The rainbow is good, though.

---

As for other things, I'm kinda hoping that bug fixes and currently existing thing tweaks are a constant effort, rather than any single event. So I'm not too surprised to not see them specified on the roadmap. But still, things are slowly moving towards some of the changes that people have requested, even if maybe not all in the order that makes the very most sense. Even if not directly mentioned, the things for the Mining and Cooking professions are intended to be pebble sinks, and therefore address the abundance of pebbles that people are worried about. So they're trying to work on some stuff, at least. It's not a lot yet, but I'm optimistic that they are at least trying. And a new coder! That should help a lot with getting stuff done faster, so issues can be addressed sooner without impacting other development plans too much. Because new content is also important.

It took Flight Rising quite a while to work out some of the kinks with their systems. Multiple years, in some cases. How long did eye change scrolls take again? And they're still working things out, in other areas. These kinds of things are a constant balancing and rebalancing act, and it takes time to iron out everything. I get why people are concerned, and I'm not saying they shouldn't be. But they can't fix everything overnight. I'm confident the staff here care enough to try, and personally, that's enough for me to stick around a while longer and see how things work out.

They do still very much need to communicate some aspects better, though. That, I think can be reasonably expected to be more immediate. And it's getting somewhat better, but it'll take them a bit to figure out where things go. We're all learning.

A little disappointed the economy issues weren't addressed; I was hoping there'd be something mentioned, as it was the main reason LW wasn't clicking for me. I guess I'll just check again at the next update and see if there's better changes in the future.

Can anyone share with me some more examples of the background art style required? I see some of the current artwork around but wanted to get a better full image of some to compare my style to. :>

edit: i found some :)

200k for the companions is ridiculous. Im only getting scarf for pride stuff nothing else wont be able to get. I never had 200k before highest i had on hand is 64k i buy stuff on occasion in mole market like decor and companions. I don't play much in one day now selling few items in hopes of getting scarf thats most likely it.

@Scream I actually think the companion price is reasonable, considering that they have the chance to gift you mithril and silver. Neither of which are easily obtainable unless you're at particularly high mining levels. They're priced high because their interactive reward is high.

I agree with @/Reave:

"We have professions and items in dire need of more balancing (or balancing at all), but we're considering adding even more professions before that's addressed? These problems are just going to keep piling up and become harder to deal with.

The MS/Pebble problem still hasn't been adequately addressed either, some cycling items and statues selling for 15mil pebbles in the market might be a bandaid solution, but there is no consistency there. I'm not the only one that would still love to hear what the rationale was for changing some of the pebble-sink (that had the potential to be evergreen sinks as the site aged) expansions to moonstones was in the first place."

The existing problems need to be addressed before any more of these new features, priorities are clearly an issue here and it seems to prioritize Moonstones (basically, income) over successful gameplay or creating features that are fun and not frustrating.

I really hope these issues are considered and adjusted in your next (hopefully very soon) roadmap.

To be clear: I do not want an event full of balancing issues and premium currency sinks before the basics are balanced, and a proper pebble sink is implemented.

Please, I really hope expansions are changed back to pebbles... there's really no need for such a necessity of the game to cost premium so early on. Perhaps a balance could be reached, like having the first few upgrades (3-5) be pebbles and increase in cost each time. For Dens, slot expansions could be pebble cost, and then new pages/tabs could cost Moonstones, that would certainly be more achievable and accessible.
