I'm looking at a few CAs, but I'm unable to see what they actually do because they're white patterning on the base of a white wolf preview. (And I know one of my own in queue suffers from the same problem.) Allowing users to preview on White, Grey, and Black instead of just White would allow the patterns to show up without being invisible.
This CA, for example, kind of shows it in the thumbnail on a singular breed, but then on the previews…
The only thing visible is black eartips, making it impossible to know without messaging the artist what it would actually look like on my wolves.
This CA looks like it might be black patterning, but then the CA is white markings and is again, invisible on the white wolf dummy.
And I had the same problem submitting my own (where I had both a white and black version, hoping that people would be able to preview the black version next to the white to see what it was like as a workaround) where again, it became invisible on the white sample wolf.
Allowing even just black and grey to be selectable options (even if it's a site default setting that has to be manually toggled every time the user wants to change it) would be hugely helpful.
(Also please note – by no means is the artist at fault here, and I've experienced the same issue with my own CAs as mentioned. I'm using the above merely as examples, not a callout, and I don't blame or fault them in the slightest. It's a usability issue on LW's end, not the artist's.)
