Seconding Pyromancer. Right now it doesn't look great, we've had a lot effort put in by mods doing their best to put forth a show of diplomatic platitudes (no shade to the mods, they are literally doing their job/what they volunteered for), but very little solid action by the Devs to show they're taking it seriously behind the scenes. Much generic “we hear you!”'s and updates with bizarre priorities, which you'd think would be more focused on active community feedback on the site itself, QoL and balance changes to make participating in the professions make more sense, and addressing people's general concerns right now. :/
I think people wouldn't be so impatient so “"early”" if the site hadn't gone through an Alpha, a Beta, a second Beta/Early Access extension and then a delayed launch (which was fine!) without implementing any actionable changes to things that players of those sessions were requesting or raising the most concern about. I don't mean to imply they didn't do anything, and they certainly switched some things around… but they left a lot on the floor that would have made sense to start with first, too.
I'd love Lorwolf to do well, nothing would make me happier! I won't be deleting my account or anything. But unless things take a sharp turn for the better soon I'm afraid we are gonna start seeing a slow bleedoff of active users. Can a site come back from a botched launch? Certainly, but people aren't going to wait forever for it to happen, and once that initial slough-off hits, it can be really hard to come back from.
