[images] Thumbnails sometimes have bleed

update: I was originally focusing on wolf thumbnails because that's what I can see weird on my end, but some of the screenshots by users below show there something going on with image rendering and resizing as a whole, and also that's not consistent across users-I see NPCs as mostly smooth and fine but some people are getting very pixelated images. It feels like there is something really off in the resizing method on certain browsers/devices/etc

Whatever resizing is being done for the thumbnails causes certain wolves to have bleed, you can notice if you turn on darkmode and click around for random wolves.

It's everywhere an image has been resized ngl. Dark mode is very fun, artifacts and crunchy images in need of antialiasing everywhere :')

The state of Marvin, for example, oh god

Several of the wolves in my cave don't have bleed so it's not every wolf.

Oh that one is really bad (again it's normal on my end.) I wish we could edit topics, this is an issue far beyond wolf thumbnails.

It would likely benefit staff to know what browsers you are individually using when you report these issues?

For what its worth, I'm using Firefox (ver 113.0.2) and have no issues with crunchy NPCs, they all look smooth to me. I double checked on both my monitors (1080p and 1440p) and both show up perfectly smooth, regardless of whether the window is maximized or resized.

What I do notice on my 1440p monitor, which has a higher refresh rate, is that when I load into the pages with NPCs there's an initial “pop” so to speak. Like it loads in a lower quality image (?) and then loads in the higher quality one over the first. That's what it looks like anyway, it loads in too fast for me to catch what it seems to be overriding.

I'm on Vivaldi 6.0.2979.22 64-bit on Kubuntu 22.04 with two 1920x1080 monitors. I do not see the crunchiness when the window is minimized enough to force it into the more mobile-friendly layout, however having it full screen or not-full-screen-but-zoomed-out so it uses the desktop layout does crunchify a large amount of images on the site.

To be honest, I just assumed it was how the images are until Rhulk mentioned he didn't experience it.
