Studs automatically going on cool down?

When I put my zerda up for stud it automatically put him on cool down. If I remove him will it undo the cool down? He is unbred

Unfortunately the cool-down will remain even if you cancel the listing.

However, as long as he remains listed in the Flea Market, he can still be purchased for studding.

I believe if someone purchases the stud the cool-down will also restart from the beginning, too.

I have no idea why it's set up this way. I've dealt with the frustration of canceling a listing myself without realizing the cool-down remains 😢

this ruined my breeding plans with my g2 volmyr and Zerdas. It made me so sad, especially for the volmyr, ouch that wait. I overpriced them a bit too so nothing came of it and they just expired.

I loathe this feature. I made a post about it once, I really support it being changed
