I am convinced the drop rate for wild wolves has been decreased. I know that it was with the knuckle update at first , and then a post was put up that the original rates would go back.
well originally, I got like 10 wild wolves. They are in my wildflowers tab. Since the update I’ve only gotten one, if that.

I do believe the “encounter rate” was set back to the original-

However, It does seem like the “success rate” was significantly nerfed 😳

I've gotten two encounters since the update TOT and I'm not a major campaign grinder, but I have been doing like 1hr a day since the update

I've gained twenty KB, and I've gained a wolf out of one of them. Rates seem about the same for me.

I've had 23 encounter and 0 luck with new recruits ;-;

@poe ohhhhhhh I think you’re right. The success rate definitely must have been nerfed. Campaign not as fun anymore for me :(

That's how it feels to me, anyways.

Before the update I had gotten 2/12 and afterwards… Well I'm at 0/50 right now.

At least the knucklebones can sell for MS? 😅

I've gotten 3 WWs since the update and 28 KBs, so for me still seems at the 10% range?The encounters do seem to happen much more frequently for me now though, which is nice!

I missed one, I've gotten 4 WWs since, and 28 KBs, so I'm at 14% success rate.

I got a handful of wild wolf encounters when I started the campaign and first hit the area that unlocked them, but since then I've gotten literally 2 encounters in all my time exploring, and I've finished two chapters of the campaign in that time. It's frustrating.

It has already been stated that the rates were reverted back to what they originally were. Speculating that the devs are being untruthful about this violates the Terms of Service of the site.
