Hey there! I'm a big fan of Nuzlockes and similar challenges even if I'm quite bad at them, and I've been playing Flight Rising in various locke challenge configurations on and off for several years. Now, as I'm getting set up on Lorwolf, I'm considering the idea of playing a similar challenge here, and wondering what people think.
IDK how much I actually care about collecting and customizing wolves, after all, and I'm curious about the sort of storyline such play could create, even if it's only in my head or written up very briefly.
Here's my ideas the challenge mechanics:
Wolves could not be bought from the Flea Market; new wolves could only enter the pack through breeding or befriending.
There would be some way in which wolves in the challenge could “die” and have to be released, though progens would be exempt from this as they can't be released. Given what I've observed from my gameplay I don't think wolves should “die” just from falling in the auto-battler but the party still wins, but I think there should be a penalty if the entire party falls in the campaign – either one or all of the wolves in the party would have to be released.
Thoughts?
(To forestall some potential comments, I'm not suggesting that anyone other than myself do this, and I know it doesn't align with how most people enjoy the site. I, however, don't have a ton of interest in simply collecting and dressing wolves, so I'm thinking of going for it.)
