Deep in the Darkspine territory lives the Teal Timbers Outlaw Pack. Upon finding a lone wild wolf on one of their runs, they hatched a new sinister plan. The wild wolves that have been cast from their packs for various reasons left to fend for themselves could be useful to criminals, like themselves. . They allowed the young wolf to make a den of her own on pack territory. However, it is now her job to find other loners like herself to join her pack. . The newly formed Wild Timbers pack is very much a part of the Teal Timbers pack, however they are tasked to doing the Teal Timber's bidding and undesirable tasks. The Wild Timbers feel it's a small price to pay to finally have a place to belong.
However, the Wilds never want to be completely helpless where the Outlaws are concerned. They have come into this pack pretty defeated and not nearly as strong as the outlaws, but they know it is in their best interest to change that. Their mission is to grow a legacy of young strong wolves that are better than they are right now, ones that can protect them in the future, if needed. So the Wild Legacy Challenge was born. Now we must sit back and watch it all unfold…
Here is how the challenge will work.
- Purchase the cheapest Male & Female wild wolves (g1s) off the Flea Market in your preferred currency.
- Breed them.
- When the pups are born. Assign each a number 1 through however many pups there are (unless there is only 1 of course). Throw the numbers into a random number generator to determine which pup won the fight between them and has earned the right to be the heir. You can do whatever you wish with the defeated pups and their parents.
- Find a mate for your new heir, I will be doing this the day the heir is discovered, in most cases, so hopefully they will be eligible to breed at the same time. As you get further into the challenge, it's a good idea to check the bloodlines to make sure the pups are not related and can breed. Breeding relatives can not possibly be good for growing the strong pack the wolves are looking for, after all :) I will search the flea market for the correct gender only and will be limiting myself as follows.
- Second Generation: Limiting myself to any pups on the first 2 pages of results. I will be picking the one that catches my eye the most and will not use any puppy prediction tools until after the heir's mate has been decided.
- Third Generation: Limiting myself to any pups on the first 3 pages of results. Same as before, I will be picking the one that catches my eye the most and will not use any puppy prediction tools until after the heir's mate has been decided.
- And so on and so forth through the generations giving myself one extra page each generation, but not using any prediction tools until after the mates have been selected.
I'm not sure how many generations this should go. I'm going to start with the intention of doing 10, but I may just go until I get a pup I love. And as much as I love a good breeding challenge, I'll probably just start over once I am done, or do another similar challenge.
As always feel free to join in!
